7/22/19 - This is a very nice grouping for a Colt or Smith & Wesson model 1917 revolver. The grouping is as shown; a holster (dated 1942), a WWI era canvas belt, and a WWI era canvas ammo pouch with six 3-round .45 half-moon shaped speed loading clips. Collectors tell me these were reissued and used by prison guards during WW2. This explains why the ammunition (included 18 rounds total) is dated 1941 and the holster is 1942 dated. All in great to excellent condition.
