SOLD - Nazi SS Helmet - Police General

7/20/18 - This is an original WW2 production Nazi SS Helmet. The helmet is in excellent condition with the original leahter interior liner still in tact, and the exterior is fairly clean. The exterior has normal paint loss, and there's some brown spotting that worsens towards the crown of the helmet. There are no dents in the helmet. The left side of the helmet shows a black SS logo with almost all of the paint in tact. There is only minor cracking of the paint. The other side of the helmet has a red nazi logo emblem with paint also in excellent condition. The interior shell is maker stamped SE with size 68 (large, desirable size). The interior also has a faint ink stamp for police, which is found on the interior crown of the helmet. The liner is named to a Police General. It reads, "Pol. Pres. Plesch". The liner is clean and stitching in tact. The chin strap is period correct and has two period-correct repairs (the leather is stitched back together with period correct stitching). Guaranteed all original and authentic.
