Description
7/18/23 - This is a post WW2 production German M60 steel helmet. Interestingly, the helmet is more like the US M1 style helmet than the other German predecessors. The helmet comes with a camo cloth helmet cover, original leather liner, and canvas chin strap. The camo cover is 1 sided and ink stamped "S 57-61" on the interior. No holes or notable issues and great overall condition. The shell has some mild surface scuffs and typical aging wear but no dents or major issues. The interior shell is stamped on the folded brim "VDN83", and the interior shell is size marked "55-57". The leather liner is also ink stamped with the same size stamp. Excellent condition leather with some mild wrinkling and light use wear. No issues with the chin strap either.Specifications
