SOLD - Japanese Type 30 Bayonet (073024-2-AB)

Description

8/27/24 - This is a Japanese Type 30 bayonet made in the Matsushita Kinzoku KK Arsenal commonly known as National Denki Arsenal. The blade of this bayonet has almost none of its original bluing left. The blade does appear to have its original edge, as it is not sharpened, however it does look appear that at some point a wire brush or wheel was used on blade, there are no deep pits on the blade. The blade is maker stamped on one side of the ricasso, as shown. The pommel is serial numbered and proof stamped. The scabbard of this bayonet does have light surface oxidation and a small dent towards the bottom. However this dent does not effect the operation and functionality of the scabbard.
