Rare Political Leader Brocade Belt & Buckle

12/31/24 - This is a great example of a rare WW2 NSDAP Political Leader Brocade Belt & Buckle. The belt is made from a golden "cello" brocade and has an oakleaf motif running the along the center of the belts length. The backing of this belt is made from a fine brown velvet with only minor areas of wear. The belt itself still retains most of its original RZM tag as seen in the photos. The buckle is RZM marked "M4 / 24 " for Friedrich Linden. The buckle has some high edge wear as seen in the photos. Additionally, the buckle appears to have been covered with some type of lacquer, probably in the effort to stop any further loss of the gold finish. The inside of the buckle is also marked with a black felt pen with the number "56". This belt still retains both of its brocade loops.
