SOLD - USN Mk 2 KA-BAR Knife (081723-18)

Description

8/21/23 - This is an original WW2 production USN Mk 2 utility / fighting knife. The knife blade is maker stamped by KA-BAR on one side, and model designation stamped "USN MK 2" on the other side. The blade is in great condition, but smells of cold blue and was likely refinished after WW2. There's also some evidence of blued-over pitting on the blade, mostly around the groove on each side. The edge shows light signs of sharpening. The leather handle is in great shape and tight throughout with mild handling wear, and black spacers. The pommel and cross guard have typical surface patina and no major issues. Comes with a USN MK 2 scabbard that's in great shape. Priced based on condition of the blade.
