Description

12/23/24 - This is a great example of a WW2 Australian cap badge. These badges, known as the Rising Sun Badge, this particular example is a third pattern. The third pattern of the Rising Sun Badge was adopted by the Australian military in 1904 and was used until 1949. This badge is in overall great condition. The top "ray" on the badge however, is slightly bent, but is still intact and complete. This badge still has its original fastening pin for attaching it to the cap.
