Description
8/24/23 - This is an original pair of WW2 German Dienstglas 6x30 binoculars. The binoculars come with a brown bakelite case and detached hardware including leather straps and rubber eye cup. The binoculars are light tan painted which suggests use by the German Africa Corps., but the tan paint was a later-war colored used with Army issued binoculars. The paint is faded and aged, but in great overall condition. These binoculars also feature dark brown bakelite eye pieces (another late-war feature) and crystal clear optics. The original distance reticle is clearly visible through the right eye lens. All adjustment knobs are fully functional. The left side of the binoculars are "cag" maker stamped (Swarovski) with a blue painted triangle which indicates these were made to withstand low temperatures. The bakelite case is in great condition with black leather straps.Specifications
