SOLD - RARE Wilde Tool M1 Garand Bayonet (082823-15)

Description

8/30/23 - This is an extremely rare, WW2 production M1 Garand bayonet by Wilde Tool. This is by far the hardest-to-find maker of M1 bayonets from WW2, and highly sought after by collectors. This example is uncut, full sized with a 16 inch blade. The blade retains most of the original finish, but has some mild thinning and spots of brown surface patina along the edge and near the tip. No signs of sharpening. The base of the blade is maker stamped, dated, and ordnance stamped. The hand guard has patina throughout but no excessive wear. The brown plastic handles are correct and early variation, with some blackened areas from the original mold. Comes with an original USN MK 1 scabbard. Very nice overall condition with normal signs of aging and mild use wear.
