SS Police Promotion Document - Signed

8/29/24 - This is an excellent example of SS Police Promotion paperwork that is signed. This document features an authentic signature from Heinrich Himmler the leader of the SS. The signature was authenticated in 2021 by Morphy Auctions who stated this item contained " His (Heinrich Himmler's) signature has been authenticated by several experts and is without question original." This letter is for the promotion of Rudolf Querner to the SS and Police Leader for the North Sea, Military District X, based in Hamburg. Querner was arrested at the end of the war and was most certain to face war crimes charges. However, he took his own life while in captivity, thus escaping justice.
