SOLD - CZ VZ-24 Rifle Bayonet

Description

9/6/23 - This is a Czech VZ-24 rifle bayonet. WW2 era (or immediate post-war) production. The bayonet is in great condition with a clean blade that shows dark bluing throughout. Light scratches and some mild surface wear near the edge, which appears unsharpened. The base of the blade is marked "csz o". Likely post-ww2 refinished and re-issued. The cross guard is numbered 8511, and the pommel has an electro-pencil number 9869. The pommel shows signs of refinish and has light pitting under the finish, which again suggests this was likely post-ww2 reworked. The scabbard is in excellent condition with a cz maker stamp.
