Description

1/8/19 - This is an original WW2 nazi production French Unique model 17 pistol. This is known as the "Kriegsmodell", meaning it was made after the Germans took over the factory and made slight modifications to the original model 17 pistol. About half as many Kriegsmodell 17s were made compared to the standard model 17. The overall finish is about 75-80% as shown by our photos. There's thinning throughout the slide - particularly on the left side. The front and back straps are also missing almost all of the original finish, but there's no significant rust or pitting on this piece. The barrel is matching to the frame and correct, but there's some surface wear as if someone had the barrel in a vice grip. Priced according to condition - regardless of condition this is a rare and all original firearm from WW2. Cool piece of history.
