SOLD - Early SA Dagger with Hanger - Adolf Volker

9/18/24 - This is a great example of an early SA Dagger by Adolf Volker. Adolf Volker daggers are uncommon, as they only produced SA daggers early on in their production. The blade on this dagger is in excellent condition and still maintains visible factory cross graining and has very little scabbard wear. The etched makers mark and slogan are still very strong and easily legible. There is only one minor mark near the cross guard on the blade. The handle on this dagger still has the eagle and SA badge inlay. The wreath on the eagle is starting to pop up a little. The cross guard on this dagger is district stamped "SA" for the Sachsen district. The brown anodizing (paint) on the scabbard of this dagger is in better than average condition with scratches and chips throughout. The scabbard is still straight with no dents to the body of the scabbard. The ball point of the scabbard does have two small dents. The hanger on this dagger is original and correct. The clasp on the hanger maintains most of its original finish, but does have areas of finish loss. The leather on the hanger is in great shape with no major cracks or tears in the leather. Overall, this dagger is in great condition and is a great example of an early SA dagger made by one of the smaller companies.
