10/1/24 - This is a good example of a Kriegsmarine Luger holster from 1938 made by Curt Vogel. The holster leather is in overall good condition the leather is still pliable with some areas of stiffness. The closure strap is still fully functional and the strap leather has no tears. The leather does have cracking towards the toe of the holster, and there is minor stitching loss left edge of the flap. Despite the loss of this stitching the flap remains functional. The back of the holster is stamped " Lederwarenwerk Curt Vogel Cottbus 1938" , as well as Waffen "WaA94" stamped and Kreigsmarine Eagle M stamped. The makers stamp as well as the waffen stamp are light, but are visible without magnification.
