Description
9/9/22 - This is a rare, late WW2 production hardshell P.38 holster. The holster comes from the Warren Buxton collection, and is a unique design that we believe was put together from leftover / scrap leather in the factory. The front of the holster looks like a police style Luger holster, however the magazine pouch and back leather stamps both indicate this as a P.38 holster. More interesting still, the interior body of leather appears to be pigskin - a cool late war feature. The back leather is maker stamped, dated, and P.38 stamped as shown. The leather has mild pliability and some normal surface wrinkling, but no major issues. The stitching is tight and all original. A one-of-a-kind example.Specifications
