SOLD - STG44 Parts Kit

9/8/23 - This is a WW2 STG44 Parts Kit. Comes with everything shown in photos. The parts kit is complete, although a portion of the receiver (rear end just above the trigger assembly) that is missing. The forward portion of the receiver has been cut and re-welded, as shown, leaving two weld markings. These welds are well-done and a magazine still fits in the magazine well without issue. The receiver has some brown patina and rough machine markings but is still in very good overall condition, we rate around 65-70%. The underside of the receiver is "fxo" and "cos" stamped by Haenel Schmeisser. None of the numbered parts are matching. The bore has strong rifling, but there's residue and use wear within the grooves, 7/10 overall. There are two wood buttstocks included, one is marked and the other has no visible markings. The rear sight leaf housing is slightly damaged, as shown in photos. Also includes two magazines: one is original and one reproduction. There's an included metal tube with some surface rust throughout that comes as part of this grouping; this was the start of a previous owner's attempt to build this into a semi, and was never finished. Also includes some original WW2 7.92x33mm Kurz ammunition.
