SOLD - WW2 US Medic Helmet - Early

9/12/18 - This is an original WW2 US Medic Helmet. The helmet is the early fixed bale style and in excellent condition. Medic helmets have become increasingly hard to find, and are easily distinguishable from the white paint. There are multiple accounts from veterans of an opposing side medic rendering aid to a wounded enemy in the heat of battle. Not the case in the pacific of course. The helmet has some paint loss on the exterior, and some chipping of the exterior finish on the liner. The liner is double stamped by CAPAC (kind of unique) and guaranteed original. The original chin strap is in tact. There is some wear on the interior leather and canvas of the liner, but this is normal wear. Guaranteed original and authentic!
