Description

9/12/23 - This is an example of a single shot 12ga that was made in Japan in the late 1800's. The metal of the shotgun is in good condition. No signs of pitting or rusting on the receiver and has a fine patina throughout. The receiver has intricate engravings giving it character. The barrel has some pitting speckled throughout but doesn’t look deep. The stock is also in good shape with grip serrations throughout. The receiver is marked “Choke 12” on the left and “Kuritani (likely the gunsmith) Specially made at Tokyo Factory.” The bore is mostly dark.
