Description
12/10/24 - This is a good example of a Japanese Silk "Good Luck" Flag. These flags were sent to Japanese soldiers during the war often by members of their hometowns. This flag is overall in good condition but does have tears and holes in the flag, as well as a period fix. Parts of this flag have been translated and reads "For Mr. Sakano Hirotsugu the Third Platoon, given from the young boys group of Obu Town. Good Fortune in War Forever" then is signed individually by the members of the young boys group.Specifications
