USMC 1911 Cavalry Style Holster

10/4/24 - This is an original, early cavalry (or dismounted style) 1911 holster. The holster is in very good shape, especially given its' age. The leather has some signs of use and aging, such as surface wrinkling, light cracking and some abrasion wear in a few different areas on the holster. The leather is completely intact with no major issues and a very nice interior. The stitching is all tight and original with no missing stitches. The front of the holster is stamped "USMC". This stamp is very faint and can only be somewhat seen under certain light. The interior of the holster appears to have been marked "LL" or "77", possibly by the original owner.
