10/23/24 - This is a example of a Post - WW1 Oigee 4x scope and mount. The body of this scope is in great condition but does have thinning of the blued finish throughout. The brass rings holding in the glass do have loss of the black enamel paint, but some of the original paint is still present. The adjustment and focusing knobs still are functional on this scope. The scope is stamped on the rear eyepiece "Oigee Berlin" as well as serial numbered and model stamped on the top turret "Nr. 12643" and "Luxor 4x". These scopes were popular in the post WW1 era and were often made using left over parts from the war.
