10/22/24 - This is a great example of a WW2 Kreigsmarine Navy Sextant made by C. Plath. This sextant is serial numbered "6793" and still maintains all of it's original components. The eagle with the swastika on this sextant appears to have had an attempt for "Denazification" as there are scratches on the swastika but it is still visible. The sextant's metal frame is painted with an enamel satin black paint, and only has minor paint loss on the edges. This sextant comes with what appears to be a post war wooden case. This case has some wooden parts inside that have been damaged and would need repair. Other than the internal parts, the case is in great condition.
