Kriegsmarine Leather Officer's Coat

10/23/24 - This is a great example of a WW2 Kreigsmarine Leather Officers coat. This coat is in overall great condition. The leather is dark grey in appearance and does have some signs of wear in the form of lightening from abrasion as well as some surface cracking. The interior liner is also in great condition with only one hole in the liner that is on the right side of the interior of the coat. The liner still has both of its leather hangers and nickel plated clasps for a naval dirk (dagger). These clasps are made by Assmann. The interior collar of the jacket does have a makers logo, but the last letters are impossible to make out as the logo has been worn down with age and use. The external waist pockets additionally have the name tags still present. Something is written on these tags but it has lightened with age and is hard to make out. Overall this jacket is in great condition and would make a great display piece for any collector of WW2 memorabilia.
