Description

10/10/22 - This is an original, rare variation G33/40 Mountain Carbine rifle bayonet from WW2. The bayonet is in excellent overall condition with a clean blade, original scabbard, and leather frog. The blade is maker stamped and serial numbered with excellent bluing throughout. No signs of sharpening and no rust or pitting. The spine of the blade is dated 1942. The wood handle has no cracks or chips and the metal pommel is properly waffen proof stamped. The scabbard has some mild surface patina but is generally in excellent condition as well. The leather frog is maker stamped and dated as shown.
