1/14/25 - This is a WW1 Austro-Hungarian M16 Stahlhelm. This helmet has been painted, the paint on this helmet and the pattern appear to be correct for the time period, however we cannot guarantee the paintings authenticity. The pattern on the helmet is consistent with the post-July 1918 Ludendorff directive for black outlines around the painted sections. This helmet is in great condition and has no dents or damage. The liner of the helmet is missing however the band for the liner is still present. The right rivet on the front of the helmet for holding the band is missing.
