Early M1906 Springfield Armory Bayonet

10/20/23 - This is a fairly scarce, all original and early production M1906 US rifle bayonet. The bayonet comes with an original scabbard and metal belt hanger. The bayonet blade is uncut and in great overall condition with some dark speckling discoloration throughout, but no rust or pitting. There's signs of sharpening along the edge, as well as light dings and chips from use. The base of the blade is ordnance stamped, maker stamped, and dated. Dark browning patina on the cross guard and pommel, with original wood grips. The scabbard has the original leather cover, but there's signs of repair and stitching issues at the toe. The backside of the scabbard is maker and dated stamped, as shown.
