SOLD - Colt Dragoon Revolver

11/6/18 - This is an original Colt Dragoon from the 1850s in all original condition. The pistol has a faint cylinder scene that's barely visible but the outline are still apparent. The bronze colored finish on the straps and trigger guard is mostly worn off, but there's still some finish in tact. The frame and barrel have patine and dark spotting throughout, as shown in photos. The revolver is completely matching, including the internal wedge. The mechanics are perfect, with good timing and the revolver seems fully functional. Excellent original wood grips. The bore is surprisingly nice with rifling in tact and dark discoloration / patina throughout. There's no major rust or pitting in the bore though, which is surprising given this item's age. A great commercial example Dragoon, guaranteed all matching, original and authentic.
