Description
12/19/24 - This is an excellent example of a Vietnam Era M26 hand grenade. The M26 entered service with the U.S. military in 1952 and saw it's first use in the Korean war, replacing the Mk2 hand grenade of WW2. The M26 would serve as the standard U.S. military hand grenade until 1968 when it was replaced by the M33 hand grenade. Despite not being used by the United States, the M26 is still in service today in various nations including Israel, Colombia, and a copy of this grenade is used by the North Korean Special Forces. This grenade is in excellent shape and maintains almost all of it's original paint. The pin is still secured, and the fuse body is also inert as seen in the photos.Specifications
