Description
12/18/24 - This is a great example of a 1940 pattern Luftwaffe belt buckle made by Johannes Deutschbein. The front of this belt buckle has the Luftwaffe Eagle with outstretched wings and clutching the swastika in it's talons. The eagle and swastika are encircled by a wreath and has a pebbled background. The body and head of the eagle are worn down on this example, however this is common from standard wear of the buckle and due to the softness of aluminum. This buckle is made from a single piece of die stamped aluminum, and is non-magnetic throughout. The reverse of the buckle is maker marked with "J.D.".Specifications
