Description

2/11/20 - This is an original 1944 production Underwood M1 Carbine rifle. The rifle is all original and in excellent condition. Interestingly, the receiver is double serial numbered. One looks factory, and the other a tad more crude. According to the book "War Baby!" by Larry L. Ruth, this was found on the Underwood M1's made in 1944. The metal is beautiful and in excellent condition, as well as the wood. Strong cartouche stamp, and properly stamped in the sling well TRIMBLE TN. Minty bore is shiny with strong rifling. Smooth operation and comes with an original, period correct sling.
