Description

11/10/21 - This is an original WW2 Nazi Officer's Sword. The sword pommel has a lion's head with red ruby eyes. The hand guard has a Nazi eagle and logo on the front. There is some mild patina throughout but the grip is in great overall condition. There's a portepee attached to the handle, but the cord is broken in one spot - see photos. The blade is in good overall condition but shows some small areas of oxidation and light discoloration. Maker stamped on one side. There are no signs of sharpening. The scabbard has most of the black painted finish in tact with no dents.
