Description

11/5/21 - This is an original Sauer Drilling Shotgun Case from WW2 that has been repainted and restored. These boxes were used as a "holster" or carrying case by the Luftwaffe for their survival shotgun if downed. The case is very clean with excellent paint throughout. Interior has no rust or decay. The hinge is tight and functions smoothly. Luftwaffe proof stamped on the front metal near the leather carry handle.
