11/20/24 - This is a great example of a WW2 production M40 helmet made by Eisenh?ºttenwerke Thale. This helmet has an applied camouflage paint coating that is consistent with the Normandy style three color camo pattern. This paint appears to have been on this helmet for a while, and there is paint loss on the top of the helmet. The helmet does have an original liner inside, but is missing the tension cord and the chinstrap. Overall this helmet is in great condition and would make a great display piece for any collection.
