Description
12/9/24 - This is a great example of an original WW2 Messerschmitt Bf-109 control stick. The Bf-109 was one of the backbone aircraft of the German Luftwaffe in WW2. The Bf-109 was in service from the late 1939 all the way till the end of the war, and was one of the most advanced and feared fighter aircraft of it's generation. The Bf-109 was flown by the top German ace of WW2, Erich Hartmann, who was credited with 352 victories. This control stick's buttons all are capable of being operated and have not seized up. The top button however has damage, and while still functional, is hard to push. The spring for the machine gun/cannon trigger is still strong. The original data plate is still present on this control stick. With research this could lead to discovering the possible unit or maybe even the aircraft that this control stick was attached too.Specifications
