Description

7/21/20 - This is a series 2 Type 99 rifle by Kokura Arsenal made in 1942. The rifle is matching, but the chrysanthemum has been ground off. There are some light stowage marks, or imprints where the monopod would hit the underside of the stock which indicates that this rifle once had a monopod, but was removed. The rifle has very nice original finish throughout and appears all matching. No major notable flaws. Bore is about 8/10 with strong rifling but some wear and residue within the grooves. Fully functional with smooth action.
