Browning 1922 Rig - WaA140

12/6/18 - This is an original WW2 production LATE wartime variation FN model 1922. The pistol comes with a period correct holster and two magazines (one is WaA140 proofed, one is not). The pistol rates in about 96 - 97% overall condition with some light / normal muzzle wear. There's some thinning / holster wear on the top of the slide and normal patina on the straps as well. The bore is excellent and shiny with great rifling. The gun is all matching in the "b" block meaning it was at the very end of production. You can see the crude numbering and machining that is typical for end of war guns. Also, they were using up "old stock" bakelite grips at this point instead of the more typical wood grips. The gun is mechanically sound with smooth action. The included holster has an "ersatz" late war style body and leather lid. Again, a late war "put together" holster from left over parts. Guaranteed all original and authentic.
