SOLD - 40 Year Long Service Award with Document

12/6/23 - This is an original German 40 Year Long Service Award, also known as a Faithful Service medal in gold. The medal comes with an original ribbon, original box, and an original award document. There's no way to prove this was the original document issued with this award, but the document adds a cool historical element to this offering, as all awards were issued with a document like this. The document is named to a soldier in Todtnau, and is dated June 28, 1941. Comes in a basic wood frame, as shown. The award is in great condition with some light patina but no major issues.
