Description
12/11/23 - This is an original WW2 Type 30 Japanese Rifle bayonet. The bayonet is made by Hoten Arsenal and is cited in Labar's book as a Variation C, LB-168 (page 205). The bayonet features a bright, fullered blade. The blade has some light surface scuffs and scratches throughout, and some speckling discoloration. No rust or pitting and maker stamped on one side. The straight cross guard and bird's head pommel are in good condition with typical dark surface patina and finish loss throughout. The wood handles are original and correct with screws on one side, and rivets on the other. Comes with a cone-tipped metal scabbard that's in great condition.Specifications
