Description
12/27/23 - This is an original set of silverware attributed to the infamous Herman Goering. This 5 piece set is uniquely marked on the base of each handle with a German eagle holding a swastika with crossed Field Marshall (Reich Marshal) batons. This design is speculated to have been used or gifted during Goering's wedding (sometimes referred to as a wedding pattern design). Each piece in this set is also marked for silver content as well. The fork is the only piece not maker marked by AWS Wellner, but the fork is still stamped with a silver proof and maker logo (crescent and crown). There's mild tarnishing and signs of aging on each utensil, but generally speaking these are in great condition.Specifications
