Description
8/3/21 - This is an excellent example of a Walther P.38 manufactured at the end of the war in 1945. This is a GI-mismatched gun, put together by a GI from parts at the end of the war. The frame is in the "c" serial block (the "c" is very faint) and it only has one "Eagle 359" military acceptance proof on the right side of the slide, indicating it was never issued. Some of the small parts have a phosphate finish, typical for these end of war guns. It has retained about 97-98% of its finish. There is just a hint of thinning on the front strap and some very small handling marks and a few light scratches on both sides of the slide. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.Specifications
