SOLD - DWM Police Luger Rig - Matching Holster

7/27/21 - This is a nice example of a 1920's commercial DWM Luger rig that was diverted to the German Police force. It is all matching, has no chamber date, has the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs, has an added police sear safety, an added police magazine safety (still intact), and a "S. Mi. 289" police unit marking on the front strap. The rig comes with a period-correct mismatched magazine. a worn 1917-dated holster with a matching police unit marking, and a matching luger tool. The belt loops on the holster have been modified and almost all of the stitching on the closure strap has come out. The top flap is also starting to separate from the main body of the holster. The gun has retained roughly 75% of its finish. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap and side plate. There are also areas of wear on the side rails, chamber, around the muzzle, and back strap. Spotty oxidation here and there. Comes with a nice set of wood grips - small repaired chip in the left panel. The bore is very nice - shiny with good rifling.
