Description

8/9/21 - This is a nice example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in September of 1943. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" military proofs. There is an asterisk proof at the back of the left side of the slide, indicating this slide failed initial inspection and was sent back to the factory for repair. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there are also areas of very minor wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. A few light scratches along the slide, most noticeably a scratch from the safety lever. Comes with excellent grips and a proper magazine. The bore is shiny with light spotty freckling in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
