Description

8/19/21 - This is a nice example of a Spreewerk P.38 put together at the end of the war from parts. The gun is mismatched but has a rare "Zero Series" slide. It has the proper "Eagle 88" and "U" zero series proofs. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct Walther magazine. It has retained roughly 85% of its finish. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is wear on the high edges of the slide, wear around the muzzle, and thinning on the barrel. Small scratches here and there along the slide. Brown patina on the front strap. The bore has some rifling left with pitting throughout. De-cocker is functional.
