11/24/21 - This is a truly gorgeous example of a Colt Model 1917 revolver issued to the US military during WW1, in 1918. The gun is all matching, is "United States Property" marked, and has the proper "Eagle Head S15" military proof. The rig comes with an excellent 1917-dated leather holster. The gun is stunning, retaining more than 98% of its bluing. There are just hints of wear on the high edges and a very light roll mark on the cylinder. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth. Lanyard loop on the frame is intact. Comes with excellent wood grips - just a few small bruises. The bore is like factory-new.
