Description
9/10/21 - This is a minty example of a rare Zero-Series Spreewerk P.38 manufactured at the end of WW2, in 1945. It is all matching and has the proper Zero-Series proofs on the right side of the slide. There is an asterisk marking on the right side of the barrel, indicating it failed initial inspection and was sent back to the factory for repair. The right grip appears to have been shaved ever so slightly, and the finish is a little dark. However, the finish shows no obvious signs of having been "Russian dipped". There are no "Russian X's". It has retained about 97% of its finish. There is just a hint of wear on the front strap, on the high edges of the slide, and around the muzzle. Some very light scratches on the right side of the slide. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional.Specifications
