Description
9/17/21 - This is an excellent example of a Browning Model 1906, chambered in .25 ACP. It is virtually identical to the Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket, which was based on the same John Browning prototype, and was the inspiration for FN's later Baby Browning design. Although Browning's handgun patents were sold to both FN and Colt, this was the only case in which both companies put the same design into production without any significant modification. This one is all matching and has the proper Belgian proofs. It has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is very minor wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. A few small spots of wear on the front strap and a few very tiny handling marks on the slide. Comes with very nice black bakelite grips and a proper magazine. The bore has decent rifling with minor pitting throughout.Specifications
