Description

9/17/21 - This is a nice example of Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs throughout, even on the small parts. It has retained about 90% of its original finish. There is thinning on the front strap and on the barrel and minor wear on the high edges and around the muzzle. A couple of spots of wear on the right side of the slide and on the barrel. There is a series of dark squares of discoloration on the right side of the slide, almost in a grid pattern. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct Walther magazine. The bore has good rifling with pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
