10/5/21 - This is a very nice example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. This is a straight-line AC 43 variation. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 80% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap, so the profile views are actually very nice. There is very minor wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. A few streaks of minor wear on the top of the barrel through the ejection port. Comes with excellent reddish bakelite grips and a period-correct Walther magazine. The bore is shiny with strong rifling and some areas of minor freckling. De-cocker is functional.
