Description
11/5/21 - This is a very nice example of a DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1917. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial proofs on the right side of the slide. It has retained about 90-92% of its original bluing. There is somewhat spotty wear on the side plate, side rails, around the muzzle, left side of the frame, and on the top of the chamber. There are a few light scratches on the front strap. Tiny freckling and spotty oxidation on both straps. There are areas of light oxidation and pin-pricking on the barrel, side plate, and the left side of the frame. Comes with nice matching-numbered wood grips (minor bruising here and there and a chip in the top corner of the left panel) and a post-war-numbered mismatched wood-bottom magazine. The bore has good rifling with some areas of minor pin-pricking. The magazine fits a little tight in the gun. On the serial number on the left side of the slide, it appears someone scratched a capital "G" after the serial number.Specifications
