Description
11/5/21 - This is a nice example of an AC 41 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. This is a first variation AC 41 and has an early serial number, "ac" on the trigger guard. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. The gun has retained roughly half of its original high polish finish. There is spotty scratchy wear throughout, but most of the finish loss is on both sides of the slide. There are areas of minor pitting on both sides of the slide, the barrel, and on the underside of the frame. It comes with very nice matching-numbered waffen-proofed grips - there is a small chip in the bottom left corner of the left grip panel. It comes with an early Walther magazine that is not factory-numbered but does have post-war electro-pencil numbering on the left side of the tube. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with minor pitting throughout. The de-cocker is not functional.Specifications
